Ocean Drive 12 The Westerings

The Westerings is a six-bedroom villa on Ocean Drive, in the northern part of the Royal Westmoreland resort in St James. It sits in an elevated position on the 13th hole, in tropical gardens, with views across the golf course to the Caribbean Sea. The house was custom built to a design by the architects Gillespie and Steel, and many of the finishing materials were imported from Europe and the USA.

The open-plan lounge and kitchen open onto a large covered terrace looking over the golf course to the sea, a good place for sunset drinks. One en suite bedroom is on the ground floor, to the right of the entrance, with the utility and laundry room to the left and a media room also on this floor. The other four bedrooms are upstairs, each with its own balcony. The master suite has a large bathroom, a wardrobe and a sitting area.

A two-storey guest cottage has a bedroom with a kitchenette upstairs and a large entertainment and games room below.

Outside, there is a dining and bar area with a barbecue, and a palm-fringed terrace wraps around the infinity-edge pool and jacuzzi.
