The west coast - Holetown, Speightstown, St James and St Peter. Calm sea, the better restaurants, and most of the island's staffed properties. Quieter, and priced accordingly.
The south coast - Christ Church, Hastings, Worthing. Livelier, closer to the airport and generally better value.
