Sandy Lane Moon Dance

Moon Dance is a private residence set in almost two acres of landscaped gardens in the heart of Sandy Lane Estate, St James. The villa faces west over the 8th hole of the golf course. Built in 2006 to the owner's specification, it sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac behind electric gates.

The main villa has four double bedrooms, all en-suite and air-conditioned with ceiling fans, and every bathroom has a bath and separate shower. The master suite has a king Tempur four-poster bed and a private balcony. The open-plan living and dining room seats eight, and there is a fully equipped modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a separate TV room. The interior design is contemporary, mixing natural and vibrant colours.

The living room opens onto a large covered patio over the pool and gardens, with lounge seating and a dining area for 10 to 12. A poolside table seats six more. The Japanese mosaic pool is low chemical and has a jacuzzi, and two gazebos stand beside it, one with a bar and one with a bathroom and shower. At the bottom of the garden, a self-contained two-bedroom guest cottage with its own kitchen area and patio gives extra guests more privacy.

A short walk down the 9th fairway, past the Old Nine Clubhouse and the hotel tennis courts, leads to the main entrance of the Sandy Lane Hotel. Sandy Lane Beach is less than 0.5 miles away, and guests have membership of the Sandy Lane Property Owners Beach Facility, with parking, restrooms, and sun loungers and shades provided free of charge. Drinks and snacks are served there in peak seasons. The house is child-friendly, and children under 6 are welcome with a nanny or named carer.
