Sandy Lane - Evergreen

Evergreen is a private, secluded four-bedroom villa on Sandy Lane Estate in St James, Barbados, set in three acres of rolling tropical gardens. It is furnished with a mix of antiques and contemporary art, and has its own cabana on Sandy Lane Beach.

The four air-conditioned bedrooms and five bathrooms each have their own character, with a TV, music and wireless internet. One of the master bedrooms looks out over the gardens of the Estate, and two of the guest suites open directly onto the gardens. The villa has a generous number of living areas for its size, from a formal living room to a family room with a large flat-screen TV that seats a full house for a film, and a bar inspired by Mondrian, with a dance floor.

Outside are expansive patios and a secluded pool. On the roof terrace, one spot is named for its position for a rum punch while the sun sets over the Caribbean Sea, and paths lead through the gardens.

The villa is staffed, with a cook, a laundress, housekeeping and maid service included. Sandy Lane Beach, restaurants and golf are all close by.
