Merlin Bay - Nutmeg

Nutmeg is a three-bedroom villa at Merlin Bay in St James, a beachfront development of just eight units on a palm-fringed, crescent-shaped stretch of shore. Merlin Bay is one mile north of Holetown, known for its shops and oceanside restaurants.

The villa is fully air-conditioned and set over two floors, looking over the beach, the large lagoon-style pool and the gardens of the enclave. On the ground floor there is an indoor dining room and a sunken sitting area that opens to a private plunge pool and pool terrace; the ground-floor bedroom also opens onto this terrace. Upstairs, a dining terrace with a hand-painted mural has sea views across the central pool.

Steps from the central coral stone deck lead down to a secluded white sand beach and calm, warm sea. Maid service is included twice a week, and a chef can be arranged at extra cost.
