Sandy Lane Estate | Highlands

Highlands is a private holiday home on the Sandy Lane Estate in St James, on the west coast of Barbados. It stands in over 2 acres of landscaped gardens on one of the highest positions on the estate. With no neighbouring houses behind it, it catches the cooling trade winds from the east, and its height brings afternoon sun and evening sunsets.

The entrance opens onto lush indoor and outdoor gardens. The main bedroom wing holds the master suite and three further guest bedrooms, all with air conditioning and their own bathrooms and terraces. The dining area is bordered by tropical plants and a water feature, and there is also a bar and a breakfast dining area. Housekeeping and gardening staff are included.

Around the pool there is a sun deck with sun loungers and dining tables, framed by gardens, and space for outdoor dining. The house suits groups of friends or family, with room to spread out and places to come together.

The villa is close to the amenities of the west coast. The Sandy Lane Estate offers tennis, golf and the Sandy Lane Beach Club, with its bar and food.
