Schooner Bay - Amore

Amore is a beachfront apartment at Schooner Bay on the West Coast of Barbados, on a palm-fringed, crescent-shaped shoreline called Godings Beach, where the water is almost always calm enough for swimming and snorkelling.

The apartment has high-quality finishes and all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay, and the atmosphere is laid back. The open-plan bedroom has a walk-in closet, and the patio overlooks the garden for al fresco dining. A housekeeper looks after guests 6 days a week, and beach towels are provided.

Tropical gardens surround the large free-form swimming pool, and the poolside and beach have sunbeds exclusively for guests of Schooner Bay. The white sandy beach is a few steps away, with warm, calm water for swimming, and there is a well-equipped gym on site. Water sports are available at Cobblers Cove Hotel, a short walk across the beach, which also has a bar and restaurant.

The historic town of Speightstown is a five-minute walk away, with good shopping, banks, sidewalk vendors selling local produce and provisions, and casual places to eat in an unspoilt little town. Holetown, with more shopping and dining, is a 15-minute drive.
