Portico

Portico is a three-bedroom apartment in a building of nine apartments at Prospect, St James, on the West Coast of Barbados. It blends indoor and outdoor living with uninterrupted views of the Caribbean Sea and the sunsets.

There are 3,500 sq ft of air-conditioned living space. All three bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and walk-in closets. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped and there is plenty of room for entertaining. Housekeeping is included, along with concierge-style services and secure underground parking.

A large sea-facing terrace with a private spa pool opens off the living space, and the master bedroom has its own sea-facing terrace. A direct lift goes down to the 85 ft infinity-edge communal pool, the waterside terrace, the sea, and a gym and spa treatment room.

The building stands on a 15 ft bluff 10 minutes south of Holetown, near the Cliff Restaurant, with direct access to two secluded beaches. Opposite is a diving reef with the Stavronikita, a 365 ft wreck in 120 ft of water. Shops, groceries, medical services, nightlife and restaurants are close by.
