Cane Vale Beach House

Cane Vale Beach House is a six-bedroom beachfront villa at Welches, Christ Church, on the South Coast of Barbados. It has six bathrooms, a powder room and 180-degree sea views.

The house is laid out on 2 levels. The ground floor has five bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom and air conditioning, and a large open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. Between them, the downstairs bedrooms have 2 king beds, 2 queen beds and 2 singles in one room that can be made into a king. The master bedroom has a king bed facing the sea, an en suite bathroom and a large walk-in wardrobe. Off it is a small children's room with a double bed, which keeps young children close to their parents. On the first floor, a sitting area leads onto a large deck, and there is a fully equipped kitchenette and a laundry room. A second laundry room, to the side of the house, has a large washing machine and dryer.

The ground-floor rooms open onto a terrace looking over the Caribbean Sea, with high tables and seating for twelve, sun loungers and an outdoor shower. The upstairs deck has loungers and a plunge pool overlooking the sandy beach and calm water.

The layout allows several rental options: a self-contained one-bedroom suite, a three, four or five-bedroom villa, or the whole house with six bedrooms for larger families.

The beach is in front of the house and amenities are within walking distance. Oistins, with its lively Friday night fish fry, is a stone's throw away.
