Real Estate Tip
A question often asked by existing homeowners and potential vendors alike is: How much money should I spend on landscaping to increase my curb appeal or overall value?
To be perfectly honest however, this is a very broad topic and ultimately it depends on what the current state of your existing landscaping is. If indeed there is any at all. Whilst I’m probably the farthest thing away from the ‘Good Housekeeping’ or ‘Better Homes & Gardens’ expert in the company, one thing I would recommend is, whether your home is situated within a mature residential neighbourhood or a new emerging development – one should always look to either match or improve on the presentation of your immediate neighbors or surrounding homes. In some cases, this involves employing a landscaping professional and in others, just some good old-fashioned upkeep and keen attention to detail.
Regardless of what you choose to do, my advice would be – don’t go too crazy with the flamboyance, because it could have adverse effects on what you’re ultimately trying to achieve.
